Founded in 2014, Han Agency plans and discovers content suitable for different markets and publishers around the world. We export primary and secondary rights, and put efforts into creating a publishing ecology that enables practical and effective sales of Korean content. With the global market in mind, we actively participate in creating arts & culture and humanities content (novels, picture books, comics, and graphic novels) starting from the planning stage. Kim Hyun-min’s graphic novel, <The Archibald Series> (5 volumes) is the result of our successful collaboration with the French publisher Sarbacane—a special project planned and developed by Han Agency and published by Sarbacane. We work to expand the global readership of our exclusive writers who have already been introduced overseas, such as Kim Soom, Park Kun-woong, and Kim Hyun-min.

한에이전시는 2014년 설립되어 나라별 출판 환경과 각 출판사들의 라인업에 맞는 콘텐츠를 기획, 발굴하고 1, 2차 판권을 수출하고 있습니다. 특히 우리 문화 콘텐츠의 실질적이고 효과적인 수출이 이루어질 수 있는 출판 생태계를 만들고자 노력하고 있습니다. 글로벌 마케팅을 염두에 두고 소설, 그림책, 만화, 그래픽 노블 등의 문화․예술․인문 콘텐츠에 기획 단계부터 적극적으로 참여하고 있습니다. 김현민 작가의 어린이 만화 『탐정 아치볼드 시리즈』(전 5권)는 프랑스 사르바칸 출판사와의 협업으로 탄생한 그래픽 노블입니다. 기획 및 개발은 한국의 한에이전시에서, 출간은 프랑스 사르바칸에서 출간한 기획프로젝트였습니다. 한에이전시는 이미 외국에 소개된 바 있는 김숨, 박건웅, 김현민 등 독점 작가의 작품이 더 많은 글로벌 독자를 만날 수 있도록 다양한 기회를 제공하고 있습니다.
