Samchang
Hwang Gyu-gwan, Director
Samchang was established in 2010 following its separation from the Digital Labor Culture Welfare Center, which was part of the labor culture movement in Seoul’s Guro district. Initially, we were publishing reportage-style writings that observed everyday scenes of society. Later, we began to introduce literary collections aimed at enhancing labor literature and minjung (the people) literature. Now, we mainly publish poetry and prose collections in addition to a small number of short story collections and titles on the humanities and social sciences.

(주)삶창은 구로지역에서 노동문화운동 차원에서 만들어진 (사)디지털노동문화복지센터에서 분리돼 2010년 설립되었습니다. 우리 사회의 현장에서 벌어지는 일을 르포 형식으로 담아 출간 사업을 진행하다가 노동문학, 민중문학의 활기를 위해 문학 작품집을 다수 출간했습니다. 현재는 시집과 산문집을 주로 출간하고 소량의 소설집, 소량의 인문사회 단행본을 출간하고 있습니다.
